Love
"I have an everyday religion that works for me. Love yourself first, and everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world." - Lucille Ball The missing piece of the puzzle It is the one thing that we are all looking for. Some people have the joy of filling that hole, only to find later the piece no longer fits - something has changed??? The only person that will ever be able to fill that piece of the puzzle is you. If you are only looking for love outside of yourself, you will never ever be truly satisfied. We have forgotten how to love ourselves. We live in a society that rewards self-sacrifice. As noble as it sounds, doing stuff for others, when it is harming yourself will never get you anywhere. | ![]() |
Sure, helping others does make you feel good about yourself and it is rewarding. Unfortunately, putting other people first can sometimes mean harming or denying a part of yourself.
It is time for each of us to take responsibility for our own lives.
Allowing yourself to fall in love, to really fall in love, means loving yourself. This means honouring your whole self – mind, body and soul.
When these three are in harmony, everything else, including the love that you desire from others, will naturally and easily fall into place.
